DOWNEY, Calif. (October 24, 2012)--Five people were shot Wednesday in the Los Angeles suburb of Downey, Calif., and at least three of them died, police said.
Downey police Lt. Dean Milligan told KCAL-TV the shootings occurred Wednesday morning at a business called United States Fire Protection and at a nearby home, where the family of the owner lives.
Milligan said police are seeking a man who may have driven away after the shootings.
Downey is about 20 miles southeast of Los Angeles.
