ORLANDO, Fla. (November 21, 2013) Katelyn Roman, 13, who had been accused of bullying a classmate who later committed suicide said Thursday she did nothing wrong.
Criminal charges against the girl were dropped Wednesday and she appeared Thursday on NBC's "Today" show with her parents.
She said she did learn from the incident that it is important to stand up to bullying.
Polk County, Fla., Sheriff Grady Judd charged Roman and a 14-year-old girl with stalking, saying the two were primarily responsible for bullying Rebecca Sedwick, a 12-year-old who jumped to her death at an abandoned concrete plant in September.
