NEW ORLEANS (May 16, 2013)--Police arrested a second suspect Thursday in a shooting that injured 20 people at a parade on Mother's Day in New Orleans.
Police Chief Ronal Serpas identified the second suspect as Shawn Scott, 24, the brother of Akein Scott, 19, who was arrested Wednesday night.
The brothers both face 20 counts of attempted second-degree murder.
Akein Scott appeared before a magistrate Thursday and his bond was set at $10 million.
Serpas says four additional people have been arrested and charged with harboring the suspects.
Serpas says investigators believe the Scotts worked together in the shooting.
