BALDWIN PARK, Calif. (December 23, 2013 A tour bus crashed Monday on a freeway east of Los Angeles, injuring 13 people.
Authorities say the driver lost control of the bus, which hit a light pole and chain-link fence on an Interstate 10 off-ramp shortly after 4:30 a.m. Monday.
The Los Angeles County Fire Department said 11 people received minor injuries and two were moderately hurt.
CHP Officer Christian Cracraft said the bus was upright and the freeway was open.
He says about 40 people were on board.
The accident came four days after a series of tour bus crashes on other Southern California freeways killed two people and injured dozens more.
