DELTONA, Fla. (July 23, 2014) Jeffrey Duck, a U.S. Marine Corps veteran, says he was left locked inside a central Florida community clinic operated by the Veteran's Administration.
Duck told WKMG he arrived as a walk-in patient at the clinic at around 1 p.m. Monday and sat in a consultation room for more than three hours before he realized he was alone in the building.
Duck says he was worried he'd be accused of trying to steal something so he took cellphone video of himself walking around the lobby, which set off an alarm, so he called 911.
The Veteran's Administration issued an apology to Duck on Tuesday and said it is reviewing their closing procedures.
Duck says he isn't angry, just disappointed.
