BOSTON (October 19, 2012)—Boston Mayor Thomas Menino was trying to stop a sex toy giveaway on City Hall Plaza before it starts.
Trojan wants to hand out the vibrators, but city officials contacted Trojan, asking the condom maker to find another location.
The Boston Herald reported the city may not have the legal muscle to block the vibrator giveaway because City Hall Plaza is a public place and handing out sex toys could be considered to be an exercise in free speech.
A statement from Trojan says it’s working with the city to "add even more pleasure to the bedroom."
