WISCONSIN RAPIDS, Wis. (April 26, 2013)--Ace the cat is going home, but shelter workers in Wisconsin have no idea how the Siamese from Tucson, Ariz., ended up on their doorstep.
The 10-year-old feline was found on the steps of the South Wood County Humane Society Monday.
It had no tags or note, but it did have an imbedded ID chip that led shelter workers to the cat’s owner.
How Ace made the nearly 1,800 mile cross-country trip is a mystery.
He’ll be flown home for a reunion with his owner.
