ANCHORAGE, Alaska (May 2, 2014) The owners of a business in Anchorage, Alaska that rents inflatables are still hoping to get one of their rentals back.
Michelle Appel says a customer years ago rented a king-size bounce house nearly two years ago from her business, For Fun Alaska, but never returned the $4,000 item.
The Big Big Bouncer is hard to miss with its scheme of primary colors and it's 20 feet across and about 15 feet tall.
Appel says a woman paid $400 to rent the bounce house for a birthday party and didn’t return it.
Appel and her husband tracked the woman to her home, but discovered that she’d moved.
Appel says the purloined Big Big Bouncer is the only theft from the business since her mother started it in 1991.
