RENO, Nevada (March 4, 2013)--Road crews in Nevada had to use snowplows to clean up after a wreck that involved an 18-wheeler that was carrying thousands of bottles of ketchup.
The accident looked much worse than it was.
The road in the area of the wreck along Interstate 80 in Reno was coated with red, but it was from the Heinz ketchup, not blood.
The driver of the truck swerved to avoid another vehicle and the truck hit the median of a bridge, which ripped the trailer open and dumped the ketchup all over the road.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
