DETROIT (January 1, 2013)--"Fiscal cliff" received the most nominations to Lake Superior State University’s annual list of words or phrases that should be banned.

Other words on the Michigan university’s new list include "spoiler alert," ''kick the can down the road," ''trending" and "bucket list."

In all, there are a dozen words on the list, among them "superfood," ''guru," ''job creators" and "double down."
