Footprints In The Snow Lead Police To Suspected Burglars

RIVERTON, Wyo. (April 11, 2013)—Police in Riverton, Wyo., didn’t have to work too hard to track down three men suspected of stealing items from a home including a samurai sword.

Authorities say they tracked the men down by simply following a trail of footprints in the snow that led away from the home where the crime was reported straight to another house.

There police found three men in their 20s" digging through" stolen property that included several other types of swords, police Capt. Eric Murphy told The Riverton Ranger.

Police say they also found marijuana and drug paraphernalia in the home late Monday night.

They say the three were arrested and face various charges.
