GLEN ELLYN, Ill. (November 16, 2012)--A suburban Chicago man was a million dollar lottery winner, but he didn't know it, at least for a while.
Retired hospital chaplain Ron Yurcus said he had a bunch of lottery tickets on his desk and he didn't get around to checking the numbers until recently.
Yurcus said he almost screamed when he discovered his ticket in the Aug. 22 Powerball drawing was a winner.
The new millionaire said he’ll be sharing his fortune with family members, investing and donating to charity.
