He’s Often Wrong, But Mexican Man’s Predictions Still Draw Attention

MEXICO CITY (January 7, 2013)—A 72-year-old man in Mexico City, is always predicting the future although the things he predicts don't always pan out.

He wrongly predicted that Cuba's Fidel Castro would die in 2008, that Germany would win the 2006 World Cup and that President Barack Obama would lose his reelection bid.

But despite his lousy track record, Antonio Vazquez drew a crowd of reporters for his latest round of prediction, which include a new war in the Middle East and a great year for Mexico.
