DENVER (March 8, 2013)—Colorado lawmakers have formed a panel to work out rules for recently-legalized marijuana and because the committee includes members of both the state House and Senate, it will be known as a joint committee.
The panel will consider how pot should be grown, taxed and sold.
Colorado voters approved an amendment to the state constitution last year that legalizes possession of small amounts of pot for adults.
