BEIJING (August 16, 2013)--A zoo in central China is accused of passing off dogs as zoo animals including a Tibetan mastiff that was displayed in the lion's cage.
The Tibetan mastiff is a large dog that has a lion-like appearance, but it still barks like a dog.
The zoo says the real lion was lent out for breeding.
The zoo also had a dog in the wolf cage, foxes in its leopard enclosure and nutrias in the snake den.
