ST. PAUL, Minn. (January 16, 2013)—The Minnesota Supreme Court has ruled, in essence, that having sex with a client can't be counted as billable hours.
The court suspended attorney Thomas Lowe, ho was accused of having an affair with a woman he represented in a divorce case.
Lowe, at first, denied accusations he billed the woman for the time they spent having sex, but the St. Paul Pioneer Press reported that a court document says Lowe now "unconditionally admits the allegations."
