POCATELLO, Idaho (August 8, 2012)--Idaho wildlife officials have captured and relocated an adult bull moose after it charged an 88-year-old Arbon Valley woman in the yard of her home.
Nelda Williams said she saw the moose on her property and took some pictures.
When she went outside later that afternoon, the moose was still there, and charged her.
Williams swung a ski pole and yelled at the moose, which was enough to turn it away.
Idaho Fish and Game regional wildlife specialist Toby Boudreau told the Idaho State Journal he felt it was necessary to relocate the moose after failed attempts to get it to leave the area.
