LOS ANGELES (January 9, 2013)--Firefighters had to rescue a tipsy tree trimmer in West Los Angeles, authorities said.

The man dangled for nearly two hours, 40 feet up the tree.

A strap saved him from falling.

A fire department spokesman told City News Service it took 27 firefighters and a 35-foot ladder to rescue the man, who had a half-full bottle of tequila in his belt.
