MOLALLA, Ore. (March 1, 2013)—A dispatcher in Molalla, Ore., was able to listen in on a drug deal after a woman’s cell phone inadvertently dialed 911 early Tuesday, police said.
Officers tracked the GPS signal to a car in an alley about a block away.
Dispatchers listened in as the first officer arrived at the scene.
The officer found methamphetamine and arrested a 25-year-old man on multiple drug charges.
The 25-year-old woman with the cell phone was cited for possessing marijuana, and ended the call.
