BRIDGEWATER, Pa. (June 3, 2014) A Pennsylvania man accused of sneaking into a fire department, stealing a fire truck, and then taking a woman on a 30-minute joyride, has been charged with unauthorized use of a vehicle and burglary, among other offenses.
Fire officials saw the 47-year-old man on May 26 as he entered the Bridgewater Volunteer Fire Department, grabbed the truck’s keys and then drove away with a woman in the passenger seat.
The man returned the truck and the keys to their original positions about 30 minutes later, police said.
