PLANO (October 24, 2012)--Police in the Dallas suburb of Plano asked for the public's help Wednesday in finding seven puppies stolen from a local store.

Darrell Wayne Ramirez, 27, was arrested Monday and charged with burglary in connection with an Oct. 8 break-in at Petland in Plano.

Plano Police Officer David Tilley says seven puppies of various breeds are still missing.

Police are asking anyone who purchased or received a puppy from an individual after Oct. 8 to take the dog to a local veterinarian or shelter to have it scanned for a chip.

Ramirez was held Wednesday in the Collin County jail in lieu of $25,000 bond.
