Police Try To Crack $22,000 Egg Caper

SAN JUAN, Puerto Rico (January 24, 2014) Police in the U.S. territory of Puerto Rico are looking for someone who stole more than $22,000 worth of chicken eggs.

Authorities didn’t say exactly how many eggs were in the stolen shipment.

The eggs were in a refrigerated truck that was stolen from a distribution center in the north coastal town of Hatillo, police said Friday.

The truck is worth $35,000, authorities said.
