Sneezing Fit Blamed For Crash At Car Dealership

SAN LEANDRO, Calif. (November 30, 2012)—A driver’s sneezing fit caused a truck crash into nearly a dozen vehicles at a San Francisco Bay-area auto dealership, the California Highway Patrol says.

CHP officials say Antonio Zamora of Modesto was driving at 30 to 35 miles per hour at around 4:40 a.m. Thursday when he experienced the sneezing attack that led to the collision at the used car lot in San Leandro.

Officer Daniel Jacowitz said no one was injured, but 10 cars and trucks were damaged.

Jacowitz says Zamora, 42, wasn't cited, and investigators don't believe drugs or alcohol were involved.
