ANNA, Ill. (February 15, 2013)--Drug agents raided a home in southern Illinois, suspecting there was a meth lab on the property, but resident Laura Benson says her family was just making homemade maple syrup.
Benson explained to the officers that the buckets near trees on the property were collecting sap for their syrup operation.
There were no hard feelings.
Benson told KFVS-TV she gave the departing agents some syrup to take with them.
