Woman Ducks Into Outhouse To Escape Mountain Lion

BOULDER, Colo. (December 21, 2012)--A woman who was hiking with her dog west of Boulder, Colo., took shelter in an outhouse after she came face-to-face with a mountain lion.

Colorado. State Parks and Wildlife spokeswoman Jennifer Churchill said the animal was only about three feet away when the woman spotted it.

The hiker did what experts advise; she made making noise and raised her hands to deter the lion.

Then the woman and her dog ducked into the outhouse.

The Boulder Daily Camera reported that they stayed in there for several minutes, until the mountain lion wandered away.
