NEW CASTLE, Pa. (February 1, 2013)--A woman in New Castle, Pa., hoped a bear trap would stop a thief from taking tools from her basement with a bear trap.

It’ didn’t.

The woman placed the trap at the foot of the steps, but then forgot to set it.

Police say they've suggested she find a different way of protecting her home.
