Family Of Woman Found Dead In Texas Jail Files Lawsuit

The family of a black woman who was found dead in a Texas jail cell three days after she was arrested following a traffic stop filed a lawsuit Tuesday against the trooper who stopped the woman and against the sheriff’s office that operates the jail.

Obama’s Final Power Plant Rules Less Stringent For Texas

President Barack Obama Monday released the final version of his plan to slash overall carbon dioxide emissions, and although for Texas, they’re less stringent than what the EPA originally proposed, Gov. Greg Abbott is vowing to fight them.
