Amber Alert Remains In Effect For Abducted Texas Toddler

A statewide Amber Alert remained in effect Wednesday for a Texas toddler who police think was abducted by a man named Miguel.

CROSBYTON (January 9, 2013)—A statewide Amber Alert issued Tuesday afternoon for Leah Marie Aguirre, 2, who was last seen in Crosbyton and may have been abducted by a man named Miguel, remained in effect Wednesday.

The girl has brown hair and brown eyes, but no information about what she was wearing was available.

She’s 2-foot-5 and weighs 30 pounds.

She was last seen at 12:25 p.m. Jan. 3 in Crosbyton, a town of about 1,900 residents east of Lubbock.

The only description of her suspected abductor is that he’s Hispanic and has brown hair and brown eyes.

He’s believed to be driving a red Ford Focus.
