FORT WORTH (October 22, 2012)--Searchers have found the body of a boat captain a week after his 26-foot cabin cruiser capsized on Eagle Mountain Lake.
The body of the 51-year-old man, whose name has not been released, was found Sunday morning.
Twelve people were on board when a wave evidently hit the boat on Oct 14.
The passengers survived, but witnesses saw the captain swimming back to the cruiser after it took on water.
The district's officers, joined by state game wardens, had been searching for the boater 12 hours a day since he went missing.
