BRYAN (October 29, 2012)--A Central Texas man whose license to drive has been suspended 21 times has been arrested again behind the wheel.
Bryan police arrested Elijah Josea Adams, 28, Saturday night on a charge of evading arrest and driving with a suspended license.
He was released Sunday afternoon after posting a $4,000 bond.
An arrest report said an officer spotted a vehicle with its engine running in the middle of a street.
The driver sped off as police approached, but officers eventually stopped the vehicle.
Adams told police he was driving because his passenger was intoxicated.
