Charges Filed After Deadly Attack In Texas Train Station

SAN ANTONIO (July 8, 2014) Michael Joseph Fobbs, Jr., 21, of Cibolo, was in the Bexar County Jail Tuesday charged with murder in connection with what witnesses said was an unprovoked beating Thursday at a train station in San Antonio that left another man dead.

Fobbs was ordered held in lieu of $150,000 bond.

He told police he felt threatened by the man on the bench, but that the man had done "nothing" to make him feel that way, authorities said.

Police wrote in a report that Fobbs "did not appear to be in a normal state of mind."

His court-appointed attorney, Michael Granados, said he hadn't yet
