SULPHUR SPRINGS (March 22, 2013)--Four workers were hurt Friday when the wooden frame of a one-story structure they were building collapsed, the Sulphur Springs Fire Department said.
Firefighter David James says the workers suffered what appeared to be minor injuries, but all were transported to a hospital to be examined.
James said the framing of the building was nearly complete with the walls and trusses in place.
He said all of the injured workers managed to free themselves by the time firefighters arrived.
James says authorities are trying to determine what caused the collapse.
He had no immediate information about who owns the property or the construction company.
The names of the workers weren’t released.
