ARLINGTON (July 24, 2013)—A suspected drunken driver was in custody after a three-vehicle traffic accident early Wednesday on Interstate 30 in Arlington that left a man, a woman and an infant dead.
Investigators think a pickup truck hit the rear of the small car in which the three victims were riding.
The car spun out and was stopped on the highway when a larger truck pulling a flatbed trailer hit it.
The driver of the pickup fled, but was caught in a nearby wooded area.
Benjamon Ray Stewart, 41, of Arlington was held without bond Wednesday on three counts of intoxication manslaughter and one count of failure to stop and render aid.
