Eccentric Texas Millionaire Indicted On Child Sexual Assault Charges

AMARILLO (April 11, 2013)--Eccentric Amarillo millionaire artist Stanley Marsh 3 has been indicted on four counts of sexual assault of a child, eight counts of sexual performance by a child, and two counts of indecency with a child.

A grand jury in Amarillo handed up the indictments Wednesday.

If convicted, Marsh, 75, would face as much as 20 years in prison and fines of as much as $10,000 on each count.

His attorneys have denied the allegations.

Marsh has been free on bond since turning himself in after an arrest warrant was issued in November.

In February, Marsh settled 10 civil lawsuits from teenagers who alleged he paid them for sex acts.

Marsh suffered a massive stroke in 2011, and his wife is now his legal guardian.
