CEDAR PARK (August 19, 2012)—Police made an arrest after four people were shot early Sunday during an altercation in a Walmart parking lot in Cedar Park.

Cedar Park Police Capt. Mike Harmon said officers responded to the shooting at around 4:30 a.m. Sunday.

The suspect was arrested at the scene.

He said the four people who were shot were in the hospital Sunday with non-life-threatening injuries.

He said the suspect was injured during the altercation and was also hospitalized.

Harmon says no Walmart employees or customers were injured.

He says that the store closed down for a while after the shootings, but reopened by late morning.

Cedar Park is about 20 miles north of Austin.
