HOUSTON (April 11, 2013)--A woman has died and three other people were been injured in a head-on crash involving a car was whose driver was going the wrong way on a freeway.
The crash Thursday morning occurred on U.S. 59 near Interstate 10 in downtown Houston where a car that was northbound in the southbound lanes collided with a pickup truck.
Another car then crashed into the truck.
The female driver of the pickup was killed.
The woman who was driving the wrong direction and two men in the third vehicle were hurt.
Police said the woman suffered life-threatening injuries.
The names of the victims weren’t released and information about their conditions wasn’t immediately available.
