TERRELL (March 4, 2013)--One person died Monday in a fiery plane crash near an airport east of Dallas.
Texas Department of Public Safety spokesman Kyle Bradford confirmed the death in the crash Monday afternoon near Terrell.
Lt. Justin Lewis of the Kaufman County Sheriff's Office said the crash was reported at around 4:25 p.m. Monday southwest of Terrell Municipal Airport.
Bradford said the plane went up in flames and the person on board could not be immediately identified.
Federal Aviation Administration spokesman Lynn Lunsford that he didn’t yet have information about the type or size of the plane.
