DALLAS (July 4, 2012)--Testimony at a hearing revealed that a teenage North Texas boy who was found shot to death was bullied by one of the teenagers accused in his death.
The testimony came during a hearing Tuesday to determine if a 15-year-old boy charged in the March death of Nahum Martinez should be tried in adult court.
He and a friend were both 14 when they were arrested on suspicion of murder.
The second teen was not part of the proceedings this week in Collin County.
A Wylie police detective testified she found a card addressed to Martinez and signed by the accused teenager that read in part, "I'm sorry for calling you names. It was just a joke."
