BEEVILLE (May 9, 2013)—Mark Pillow, 24, of Beeville, was jailed Thursday, charged with murder and arson in the death of his grandmother whose body was found in the home they shared after the house burned.
Pillow of Beeville was held Thursday in lieu of $3 million bond.
The body of Dorothy Pillow, 65, was found in the rubble of the home after the fire Saturday.
Beeville police Chief Joe Trevino says a coroner ruled the death a homicide.
The cause of death was not immediately released.
Mark Pillow was served with an arrest warrant Sunday at the jail where he was already in custody on a marijuana charge.
