HOUSTON (November 23, 2013) Charges were pending Saturday against an 18-year-old man in connection with a hit-and-run in a Houston grocery store parking lot that left a woman dead.
The driver fled after the 58-year-old woman was hit as she walked in the parking lot at around 9:15 p.m. Friday.
She died at the scene, police said.
The driver later found about two miles away, police said.
Houston police spokesman John Cannon says the teen’s name has not yet been released, but said he’ll be charged with intoxication manslaughter.
