SAN ANTONIO (July 1, 2013)--San Antonio police were looking for leads Monday after a 15-year-old boy was shot to death while he walked with two other teens by someone who opened fire from a vehicle that pulled up near them.
Three people inside the vehicle exchanged words with the three teens who were walking when one of the vehicle’s occupants opened fire.
Albert Carrillo was struck once in the chest.
After the shooting, the SUV sped off.
Police aren’t sure whether the teens who were walking knew the occupants of the SUV.
An officer who was trying to respond to the shooting was involved in an accident with another car at an intersection in which no one was injured.
