DALLAS (January 30, 2013)—The thunderstorms swept across North and East Texas Tuesday, produced scattered reports of small hail and tree damage, but no severe structural damage.

In Hughes Springs, near the Louisiana border about 130 miles east of Dallas, Mayor Reba Simpson said a couple of mobile homes were toppled by the gusty wind.

She had no report of injuries.

The roof was damaged at a Walmart warehouse in Palestine, about 100 miles southeast of Dallas.
