SAN ANTONIO (October 20, 2012)—Shelia Bailey Eubank, 48, of San Antonio, is accused of staging her own abduction because she wanted a day off from work and some attention.

Eubank is charged with aggravated perjury.

She was arrested Wednesday.

Eubank was found in her car tied up with rope.

Police say that she told police a man she didn’t know got into her car and threatened her with a knife.

But police say they found a lottery ticket in her purse bought at a nearby store and surveillance footage from the store shows Eubank looking unworried.

When shown the footage, she admitted making up the story.

She was free Saturday on $100,000 bond, according to online records.
