ABILENE (January 8, 2013)--A worker at an oilfield services company in Taylor County died after he a tank he was helping load onto a trailer hit him.
The Taylor County Sheriff's office identified the victim Tuesday as Thomas Blain Stewart, 38, of Smithville.
Lt. John Cummins says Stewart was helping load the trailer Monday night at Abilene Pipe when the tank rolled.
Cummins said Stewart suffered a head injury and died at the scene.
Cummins says Stewart had been living in nearby Buffalo Gap while working for Abilene Pipe.
