HOUSTON (January 2, 2013)—Anthony Quinn Wade, 19, is the third teenager charged with capital murder in the death of a man in Harris County over a pair of Nike Air Jordan sneakers.
Wade was charged Monday.
Joshua Wood, 22, was shot on Dec. 21 while in a car he was approached by armed robbers who wanted the newly released Air Jordan XI "Bred" sneakers he had purchased earlier in the day.
The car's driver ran and was uninjured.
Wood drove off after he was shot, but the car crashed between two houses.
He died at a hospital.
Neal Bland, 18, and Kegan Arrington, 19, were charged earlier.
