TULSA, Okla. (March 26, 2013)—Police in Tulsa, Okla., arrested three teenagers on first-degree murder complaints in the shooting death of a delivery truck driver from Texas.
The three 17-year-olds were arrested Monday in the death of Robert Horton, 53, of Arlington, Homicide Sgt. Dave Walker said.
Horton was delivering pizza dough early Saturday to a Papa John's Pizza restaurant in Tulsa when he was shot to death.
Authorities say Horton was making deliveries in Oklahoma after driving up from Texas.
Police say robbery may have been the motive in the killing.
Walker tells the Tulsa World that authorities linked the teenagers to the shooting through reports that a dark-colored SUV that was spotted at the scene.
Horton's son, Adam Horton, says his father had been a delivery driver for the past eight years.
