AUSTIN (December 9, 2012)--Former Texas State University student Brittany Henderson says she was wrongly jailed for weeks after authorities said they believed she was involved in bomb threats to the San Marcos school.

Henderson told the Austin American-Statesman she didn't even know about the mid-October threats that were e-mailed to the school until she heard about them on television.

She was arrested five days later and was held in the Hays County Jail until last week when she was released on bond.

A federal criminal complaint says her ex-boyfriend, Dereon Kelley, 22, used her e-mail to send threats to Texas State and also to Texas A&M University.

Henderson, 19, says she was asleep at the time the threats were made.
