Tornadoes, High Winds Heavy Rain Hammer Parts Of Central Texas

Tornadoes raked parts of Johnson and Hill counties late Sunday night and rain was falling in buckets early Monday morning in parts of West Waco, between Fairfield and Groesbeck and on the Falls-Bell County line but no flooding had been reported.

A wrongful death lawsuit filed Friday against a local homecare agency and a caregiver alleges that no medical treatment was sought for an elderly client who was left “screaming in agony” after she was thrown from her wheelchair when the minivan in which she was riding came to a sudden stop.
