(September 10, 2008)—Multiply two all-beef patties, special sauce, lettuce, cheese, pickles, onions and a sesame seed bun by 23,000 and you’ll have some idea of the stuff Don Gorske of Fond du Lac, Wis. is made off.

Gorske, who’s 6-foot-2, weighs 185 pounds and walked as much as 10 miles a day, says he’s eaten 23,000 Big Macs since 1972 and he has no intention of stopping.

Gorske says the burgers are the highlight of his day, and says he needs two to fill him up.

He finishes them off with two parfaits.

In the 1980s, he also ordered fries every day but began to cut back in the '90s, and now eats them only about once a month.
