A man who may have had the munchies is charged with possession of marijuana after trying to pay for a meal with pot at the drive through window of a McDonald’s restaurant.

(October 14, 2008)--A McDonald's worker in Vero Beach, Fla. called 911 to report that a customer was trying to pay for his meal with pot.

Deputies say the drive-through cashier provided a description of the car, which Indian River County deputies later found, along with some pot.

The man accused of being the driver with the munchies is charged with possession of cannabis.

A Sheriff's report doesn't say what the suspect ordered at McDonald's or if he managed to buy his unhappy meal with something other than pot.
